Moxory is a network-based push-to-talk (PTT), room chat, live caption, translation, translated voice (TTS), billing, and optional location-sharing app for teams and close groups. This policy explains how Moxory accesses, collects, uses, and shares personal data.

This privacy policy is provided in 35 supported languages and every locale includes disclosure for location data collection, use, sharing, and retention.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Moxory mobile app, moxory.com, and related services operated for the app package com.recre8box.moxory. Contact: [email protected].

Data we collect

We may collect account and profile data such as name or display name, email or login identifier, user ID, room membership, settings, contacts when you choose friend discovery, and camera or photos when you use QR or profile features. We may also process PTT audio, voice messages, text messages, captions, translation requests and results, room history, usage meters, push tokens, device and app information, diagnostics, crash logs, and support messages. Plan, subscription, purchase identifier, and receipt data may be processed through App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment processors.

Location data

Moxory treats location data as personal location information when it can identify a user in a room or team. We access location only for optional room/team location sharing or emergency location sharing that you enable; location is not required for basic PTT or messaging. When enabled, we may collect precise or approximate latitude/longitude, accuracy, capture time, received time, expiry time, room ID, user ID, display name, source platform, approximate place label, Google Maps display link, emergency incident ID, and emergency retention expiry. Authorized members of the same room or team can see your current or latest shared location while sharing is active. If you grant background or always-on location permission and keep sharing enabled, Moxory may continue sending location while the app is in the background or after restart so active room members can see it. You can stop sharing in the app or revoke OS permission.

How we use data

We use data to provide login, rooms, PTT audio delivery, listening state, captions, translation and TTS, notifications, location maps, billing, support, security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and legal compliance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data and do not use location for advertising. We share data only as needed with authorized room/team members you communicate with, service providers that operate hosting, storage, push notifications, maps/geocoding including Google Maps display, crash diagnostics, analytics, and billing, app stores or payment processors, and authorities when required by law or safety. We do not provide Moxory location data as an external location API or data broker service.

Retention and deletion

Normal room location snapshots expire in about 1 hour. If you revoke location consent, Moxory deletes your room location-sharing state and normal location snapshots, subject to safety and legal limits. Emergency location records may be kept for up to 30 days for safety review, incident handling, and audit. Room messages, audio, captions, summaries, usage, billing, support, and logs are kept according to room settings, plan limits, legal requirements, and operational needs, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Your choices

You can decline or revoke microphone, speech recognition, notification, contacts, camera, and location permissions in the app or OS settings. You can pause or stop location sharing per room. You can request access, correction, export, deletion, suspension of processing, and records of location use or provision by contacting [email protected]. Some records may be retained when required for security, billing, dispute, emergency incident, or legal obligations.

Children

Moxory is not intended for children under 13. For Korea, Moxory does not provide personal-location-information services for children under 14 unless a legally required guardian consent flow is in place. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Updates and translation provenance

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change.
